The Sierra Club is the oldest environmental organization in the world. The San Francisco Bay Chapter is home to 40,000 Sierra Club members in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, and San Francisco counties. Ten thousand of those members are in San Francisco alone. We depend on volunteers to run campaigns, lead hikes, organize events, and keep our office running. We couldn't exist without our wonderful volunteers!
