The Aggi

About Me

Well, we've been here nearly a year now and what a difference! The food is good, the beer is great, and live music is superb. A string of free events make the Aggi the best place for a fun night out. Check our notice boards regularly as there is always something new and exciting happening

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: firststepmanagemententertainments.co.uk
Band Members: Any pub is only as good as its staff, and we've got some of the best. Head Chef Rich Nolan works with Nigel Newbold and a collection of keen young KPs to turn out a fantastic selection of homemade food, increasingly locally sourced. The bar staff look after you from the moment you arrive till the time you leave, they all want name checking so here's hoping I don't miss anyone.. Marc Towey, Kieran Hanshaw, Tony Flynn, Sarah Ward, Ray Williams, Sir Bob Squarepants, and don't forget our great waiting staff, Tom Williams and Micky Hayter.
Influences: Live music is a big part of the plans for the Aggi, Landlord Julian is the drummer in near legendary punk band Falling Apart and we have already put on a series of great live gigs of all styles, from ska, jazz, funk, drum 'n' bass, rock, folk and of course...punk with the great FallingApart
