At the beginning of 2008, Skitch left the industrial metal band Skumlove. A few months went by and Skitch decided it was time to get back into the music. He wanted to have a music project that was serious in nature yet showed his sarcastic and humorous side. He came up with the idea for Black Market Jew. BMJ is not meant to be a touring band or side project. It features many members from different bands and musicians who want to make songs about fucked up and embarrassing situations that happen to all of us.
