The Band was formed by Revan in April of 2007. In the beggining it was a solo project, but after some dissapointments with his other bands Revan decided to continue with Nipenthis and started looking for members and writing songs. After some weeks he found Erevos (guitar) and Morbid Bloody Deathslut (bass). Months later Erevos left Nipenthis to work with a doom metal band. Revan found Nihilus (guitar), an old schoolmate, who joined the band. Also, Sion (guitar) and Darroc (drums) joined the band, and they started working. The first live was booked in 18/8/08, but 10 days before it Morbid Bloody Deathslut left the band because she didn't like playing only blackmetal. 2 days later they found Setherion who helped them playing bass in the gig. After the gig Setherion stayed in the band as a guitarist, and Sion took the bass. In 12/10/08 Nipenthis had their second gig and in 24/1/09 their third. After the third gig Darroc stopped playing with the band due to lack of free time. After 2 months of searching Hydraya replaced Darroc at drums. After booking their 4th live in 25/4/09, Sion left the band, so Revan became the bassist-vocalist of the band. In the moment we are recording our demo called "Sleeping in Eternal Shadow".
