About Me

Music has always been a huge part of Eric's life. He started playing trumpet at age 11 and singing in operas when he was 12. He started private guitar lessons with Mark Abernathy at age 10 and soon would reach a musical plateau which would lead him to another instructor, Jeff Turner. Eric continued lessons with Jeff until the music store where he taught went out of business. Eric then found Michael Harris. Michael Harris opened Eric's eyes to music theory and the art of live performance. During the course of Michael Harris' instruction he adopted the notion, If you practice and work hard enough you can play anything. It is that work ethic that has brought him where he is today. Damn I'm funny. Eric played with several local bands and started playing in night clubs at age 15. In September of 2001 Eric felt that his musical limits had been reached in Ohio and made the move to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Shortly after his move to Tennessee Eric would form metal band, None Minus One. The band would break up 2 years later due to musical and social differences. Eric has also played for a Murfreesboro, Tn local band, Booboo Bunny which is the band he played with while he had breaks from touring with Crossfade and Lyle Lovett. He is currently back in Ohio playing guitar for a few rock bands; Scarlet Absense, Operation X, and Over Earth. You can find them on his top friend's list. I've always wanted to talk using 3rd person.
