About Me

I felt it was necessary to update this, since I haven't changed the "About Me" in quite some time. It seems like such a difficult thing to do, summarize who I am. My last attempt featured a pretty long and quite obscure list of things I enjoyed. I think this time I'll try and be a little more... precise.
First and foremost, I enjoy music, very much. One could argue that I'm a scene kid, I go to a lot of shows and often have the emo swooping hair cut but I'll try not to bring you down by taking pictures of myself. (Anyone catch that reference? Anyone...? Guess not...) Most of music falls within the pop-punk boundaries but in the end, my all-time favorite artists are typically more chill than that of... for example, the pop-punk icons: Cartel. I think this is an appropriate time to give recognition to the following:
Jack's Mannequin / Something Corporate
Copeland
Mae

Thanks guys.
With a few exceptions (Punk Rock Princess? Gross) you're everything I look for in music.
Other notable mentions would include:
Anberlin
Sketchy live show.
The Starting Line
Their last album didn't do it for me.
Eisley/The Academy Is/Paramore/The Spill Canvas
After one album (I haven't listened to "Sunsets And Car Crashes" ... I don't know why), I can't include any of them in the supreme favorites list, but they all have potential.
Fall Out Boy/Panic! At The Disco/The Fray
That whole "stardom" thing is hard to deal with, but it doesn't change the fact they write some killer tunes.
Rascal Flatts
I can't stand country, but these guys are simply unbelievable.
Cartel/Relient K
Formulated music rarely does it for me, but they both have that little something extra.
The Format
They are usually a hit or miss. Creativity is awesome but I often feel the orchestral arrangements are forced. "Hey look, we have a tuba!"
Jason Mraz/John Mayer
Their undeniable talent and song writing abilities always blow me away.
Well, I've already spoken far more about other people than myself, so I'll end by saying I also am fascinated with computers, web design, graphic design, and anything involving creativity.
I'm also in a band named "Cedar Avenue" and I absolutely love everything I do with them. Do me a favor and take a listen:
