BACKGROUND
Our club was established in 1958 and will be celebrating it's 50th Anniversary in 2008. If you are interested in attending our 2008 50th Anniversary Bonspiel, an event of celestrial proportions, please email me and I will be sure to get you all of the available information.
While the club has curled at a variety of venues over it's many years, members are currently enjoying the hospitality of the San Jose Sharks Training Centers located at Logitech Ice Hockey Arena in San Jose and Sharks Ice Hockey Arena in Fremont. Arena Curling is often perceived as inferior, but one gains the essencial skills of adaptibility and humility -- which seem to bring out the best in one when able to curl on Dedicated Ice.
The ex-Pat Canadian population in the Bay Area is deep and our potential for growth in the club is extensive.

Designed to teach the fundamentals of curling, experienced instructors begin with the game basics. The first lessons will teach students how to deliver the stones, how to sweep, and how to safely maneuver on an icy surface. Basic terminology, strategy and practice sessions follow. Curlers begin to curl in games participate in game dynamics. Also included: etiquette, technique, and strategies on how to play the games.
Level II: Intermediate Adult Curling - 8 weeks
Developed to aid curlers with the technical aspects of the game. Drills are used to improve skills; strategy sessions are done on-ice to take curlers to the next level; each team member's role is highlighted as is the skill set necessary to improve at each position. Video taped deliveries of each curler are analyzed by an experienced instructor. Short instructional games are played to illustrate strategies, techniques and other aspects of the game. Additional instructional information is supplied to the students so they can improve their game.
