Influences: I have many ifluences, due to the fact that I'am a very open minded person(musically). Jazz, Rock, Gospel and Acoustic music - especially when preformed live, have influenced me a great deal, what captivates me the most with these particular styles of music is the free-flowing beauty, changes in rhythm and also chord changes- you just don't know what to expect next!
I also am passionate about music from different parts of world including: Arabic, Bhangra, Chinese, Japanese, Latin and Celtic music, amongst a host of others. Old Skool Garage- there is just simply nothing like it!!! Jungle- R.I.P, although I love jungle, it seems like no one is feeling it anymore. Funky House- it's becoming a force in the U.K music scene, it's refreshing and inspiring to work on a diffrent sound. Of course Hip-Hop and R&B but I prefer the Hip-Hop and R&B of the past. I feel the Urban scene of the present has been ruined by sampling, chessey rappers and singers that can't sing. I'am a big fan of Reggae and Bashment from the late 90's.
Now for my favourite producers. Timbaland has made the greatest individual impact influentially. He is simply the greatest producer ever to live- it's a shame that people are only recognizing that now he is all over the T.V. Todd Edwards is another freek of genius just like Quincy Jones. Liam Howlett (of Prodigy) is wicked! Dr.Dre, The Neptunes and Wookie, have also been infuential. Havoc, from Mobb Deep is another very talented producer that has been influential but is very underated- if he is even recognized. RZA, from the Wu Tang Clan is just ill- probably one of the most orignal producers in the world.
Sounds Like: My sound in my opinion, is different and versatile and I always try to be creative. My sound also changes alot- I don't believe in sticking to same sound, it limits what you can do musically and rhythmically.
