Stars In The Sty was a competition organised by creative service agency Black Pig Ltd . A campaign was launched over the airwaves where radio audiences were asked to call in and unleash their hidden vocal talents by singing a thirty second clip of their favourite song. The prize was for five lucky winners to perform lead vocals on a specially penned Christmas charity single, and a further ten singers would be picked to join the aforementioned five on the choruses.
Competition winners travelled far and wide to get to the recording studio in late October, and the single was finished shortly afterwards. It's official launch date of 12th November has been met with a lot of media attention and will be played on the radio throughout the day, every day, until Christmas.
Black Pig founder and managing director Sarah-Jane Higgins said, "I love it when a mad idea comes together! I'm so proud of everyone who took part, especially the team at Black Pig who have worked so hard. Now it's up to the public to help us raise funds for CLIC Sargent".

The single's launch has been helped by the backing of fundraising whirlwind and charity icon Liam Fairhurst.
