I like anything horror-rock related.... White Zombie, Blitzkid, The Other, Long Halloween, Shadow Reichenstein, 45Grave.
Night of the Living Dead and all of its successors, early silent films of the German Expressionist movement, weird art films by Ken Anger, Bunuell, Dali, etc... Any cheezy old AIP horror or sci-fi flick from the 50's and 60's, the original Star Wars trilogy, low budget indie horror flicks, pretty much anything by David Lynch.
I haven't had TV in over 8 years. It is a mind-leeching psychic vampire.
Infinite Jest and anything by David Foster Wallace, E.A.Poe (everything), Geek Love was pretty good, anything by Lovecraft, the Dune series, and any books on metaphysics, the occult, magick, Crowley, LaVey, Qaballah, etc... Poetry especially by William Blake, W.B Yeats, Samuel Cooleridge, And pretty much any self published comic and/or graphic novel out there.
