United Ritz-Carlton Workers

We are the United Workers of the Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena, CA. As Housekeepers, Cooks, Bellmen, Front Desk Agents, Stewards, Servers, Runners, and all of the other vital members of the Hotel staff, we make the Hotel operate twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. It is our hard work, dedication, and ingenuity that have granted the Ritz-Carlton Huntington tens of thousands of well-paying guests per year and the prestigious name it held until very recently as one of the countries finest luxury resorts. As many have already read in recent newspaper articles, television and radio reports, there lies a dark truth beneath the shadow of the Lion and the Crown. A well-established history of discrimination and illegal labor practices has finally been brought to the surface by workers, in the hopes of forming a Labor Union in order to put an end to such unjust treatment. The workers at the Ritz-Carlton Huntington have decided to stop allowing the abuses, and together are standing up for their rights as workers, as citizens, and as people. Together we can make the changes we seek, to improve the conditions of our livelihood and create a Hotel that we are truly proud to service. WE WILL NOT YIELD, WE WILL NOT SURRENDER, AND WE WILL NOT GIVE UP THIS BATTLE UNTIL WE HAVE ACHIEVED OUR GOAL! SI SE PUEDE!
