Voz del Fuego began as a solo project of Leandra Lambert in September 2003. Her first CD is in recording, after several demo-CDs and participation in compilations and in the soundtrack of a movie.
The name "Voz del Fuego" means "Voice of the Fire" and came from the fusion between Alan Moore's book title and "Luz del Fuego" ("Light of the fire"), a spanish name adopted by the libertarian Dora Vivacqua, brazilian dancer, nudist and performer 'till the middle of the last century.
Brief history: Everything began as a yelling child. Then, there was drama classes and a Casiotone, when she was about 10 years old. Music non stop, so this story continues with her teenage life in Rio de Janeiro and a taste for punk, post-punk, electrofunk... In 1990 Leandra was in a obscure band- really obscure, I mean. In the end of 1992 she formed the Inhumanoids!, an innovative group at its' time: electro-punk with sense of humor, lo-tech with unpredictable performances. They have produced several demos and recorded tracks for two CD compilations; one of them was "Minimal Synth Ethics 2", in 1993, from the extinct label Cri du Chat - the first Brazilian electronic label. From 1992 to 2000, people in Inhumanoids! changed many times, and only Leandra was always there. They have performed in several clubs, theaters and festivals in Brazil.
