This is a poem I wrote two years ago when I was living in the the beautiful city of Bolzano in Northern Italy!! <3
Born on a cloudy twenty sixth of June
Into a Mexican house full of beautiful tunes
At the age of three,
The family of four,
Decided to explore
A new world
A couple thousand miles up north,
In search of a promising growth
Leaving everything behind
And keeping only memories in mind
Southern Cali was her new rally
For her and her Mexican family
As she learned English,
Her first second dish
She faced all sorts of knowledge
Which became a bridge to college
School has been a tool
For her to see the moon,
To live a dream
And study abroad in Italy
To run competitively on a team
And race against her own wild stream
She took a stand,
To make the best out of
Living in this extraordinary land
She makes her best happen
By simply always being in action
And with the help of some laughin’
Thankful she is everyday
Is something others would say
For she is thankful for living today
And absolutely loves every minute of the way

Who give her unique blisters,
Her little booger
