"Music is emotion" - the quote that I live by. Ever since I was a kid growing up in Staten Island, I would sit and watch my dad play the piano and write songs. Dad wasn't a trained pianist or outstanding vocalist, but it didnt matter to me, because when he played and sang the songs that he wrote on his tiny, old Wurlitzer piano, it wasnt about notes and rhythms...it was about heart. I guess you could say that I learned to do what I do from my old man. He taught me that as a musician, you're not just an entertainer, but more importantly, you're a story teller. My dad's musical influence along with the support of my friends and family have spurred me on to achieve some great things in my still young musical career. During 19 years of performing, I've had the opportunity to perform in many great musical venues including the off-Broadway stage in my native New York, The Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center and even Carnegie Hall. I appeared live on Tampa Bay's XL 106.7 FM in May 2008 and I'm currently living back home in New York City. I am also in the process of compiling a live solo album of "songs in the attic", if you will. Stay tuned! Also, check out my brother's band, Chasing Thrill!
