[email protected] One Monologue Films is the production company behind the idea to take " One Monologue " from some of yesterdays and todays famous films, and say "What If?" it went another way, like a alternate, reality, character, setting, meaning, theme, and location.
The opposite instead of the original where you are the observer of events transpiring on screen.
The One Monologue Films "What If" stories usually began with an unseen narrator briefly recapping a notable event in the original film. The narrator then indicates a particular point of Monologue in that film, and demonstrated what would it be like if it were differnet. The first What If story, entitled "What if 2001 was not an Odyssey?," presented an alternate version of a scene and monologue from the original "2001 a space odyssey" film.
Some storylines involved individual characters choosing to take (or not to take) a particular action.
Due to their nature, stories presented in the "What If" format are allowed to "break the rules" that kept the original monologue intact; major characters could be (and often are) killed off in the alternate story.
