Theft of Heart formed in early 2004 and has quickly become a sought-after name in the local original music scene. Evidenced by live performances which have been described as "moody" and "aggressive", the band's sound reaches inside the heart and soul and is both introspective and emotional. Muscially, the bands sound is that of a tortured, caged animal, often times exploding in a violent rage, and other times sat down alone in the corner of it's lonely, cold, steel cage. The band is driven by compelling vocal harmonies with a touch of melancholy and despair, along with crushing, raw guitars, deep driving bass lines, and pounding , aggressive drums.
