About me...Well..if you know me personaly then you know me, and for those who think they know me...your full of shit. Im a very mellow person and I dont like people who pull the "superstar" bullshit with me, Nor do I like people who try to tell me "Their Way" of doing something if they hired me to do it, unless of course the person is someone who taught me how to do it, in that situation I will listen and most likely do it their way, because if they taught me then they know what they are talking about.------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------- I own "NervousWreck Productions" We do film, music, tattoos, dancing, acting, live sound and anything else you can think of. fuck we can even mow your lawn if you pay us---------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------------W e primarily record rap/hip-hop, simply because everyone and their momma has written a rhyme/poem/story and it's hard to find a band that is ready to record..yes even in california it is hard to find bands that want to record, or bands that have the cash to record, Dont get me wrong I am a metal head but have just worked with alot of rap/hip-hop as far as recording, some good and some bad.-------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------- NWP Has finished Two Full-Length Albums for "RED" We did a few Doc's for SPACE out of ukiah ca. We are begining to track for a few bands as well as run live sound thorughout the Mid-West and Ca and have ran sound as far as Wisconsin. Things are starting to pick up in all directions, I usually get fucked over when I hook someone up so I am becoming more and more of a cold hearted business man--------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------ We've done our "Death to Meth" concert for the past 4 years in Pine RIdge South Dakota, We concluded the Pine Ridge concerts and are now moving outward with the message. Pine Ridge will always have some sort of "DTM" related activity in the summer but we wont be doing a full out concert for a few years.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------Im kind of an asshole when it comes to recording and or mixing, Suggestion, if someone has vox soft one part, and hard the next, use a compressor, if their vox are too loud..turn it down, there is a little thing called "automation" you can use for that, or you can just turn it down by using the thing with faders and little cool switches they call a mixer. If you dont know what Im talking about, read the instructions for your software/hardware, read it at least 4 or 5 times, maybe even read it as you do what it is saying to help you better understand what your doing, and if you dont have anyone who knows the software/hardware, dont stop reading it, figure it out, it's not impossible, if my dumb ass can be 80% self taught than any one as dumb or dumber can do it---------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ --------- Also there is a thing called timeing, if the vox do not match the beat it's just not going to sound good, if you try to make it fit, it will sound good to you, but not to most people, I call this Uncomfortable listening, because you can hear it slightly off beat but at the same time it sounds okay...sound familliar? then you pry heard it happen before, my oppinion...IT SUX! count with me...ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, easy right? now stomp your foot and say ONE, then clap your hand and say TWO, then stomp your foot and say THREE, then clap your hands and say FOUR..Rinse and repeat starting back at the foot for one and count back to four and start all over again...Congradulations you have just counted to four..3 times and have now masterd the basic's of a beat/tempo.------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------- www.myspace.com/nervouswreck65------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------
