When Time Fails is cooler than the circus!
Andrew and Tim started a trio called Snepler on October 3, 2003. In June of 2004, they started a 4 piece band that quickly turned into a 5 piece when Joey started singing, Brandon Krull started on bass, Benn Hadland drummed, and they called themselves When Time Fails. When the drummer Benn left for CSULB in August, WTF took some time off when Andrew, Tim, and Joey experiamented with different styles with a band unofficially called Timmy's Grounded early in 2005. When Summer of '05 rolled around, WTF returned after 10 months off, this time with Dan being the drummer and Shaun the Bassist. WTF as most people know them was Andrew, Tim, Joey and Dan. In Summer and Fall of 2006, the band played shows regularly at Chain Reaction and Hogue Barmichaels. The week before Christmas '06, they recorded their first studio cd, a 13 song full length in 3 days, working up to 14 hours a day. In January of '2007, When Time Fails opened for a local band Faulter (formerly of Abicus Records) on their headlining national tour. They were also invited to play for (Drive Thru Record's) Self Against City for their sold out CD release show at Chain Reaction, but couldn't play due to Dan and Andrew's school schedule. The Faulter show was WTF's last show due to them taking the the Fall off for some of the members to focus more on college. WTF officially lost Swindler when he decided to transfer to UCSD. The band has met a few times to "jam" and work one new stuff, but has made no attempts to replace Dan to this point. Ten of the tracks WTF recorded in Dec 06 are on Myspace and Purevolume for Free download.
Joey is a UC-Irvine Alum, Andrew will graduate from CSU-Fullerton in Dec 2008 with a degree in History, and he and Tim are regularly seen causing havoc on the Fullerton campus (jk, kinda :)
