My full stage name is Sir Chico da 1stBorn. I don't expect EVERYBODY to say that ALL the time. A lot of people call me Chico...some say 1stBorn...whatever you want. I am no longer an aspiring hip-hop/rap artist, I'm a hip-hop/rap artist preparing for a major deal and introduction to the world. I'm a St. Louis native but I try not to sound like well-known artists from my hometown. I don't want to get caught up in all the hype of everybody sounding alike coming from here. When I say here or there it sounds like herre or therre but its not 'cause I'm trying to sound like Nelly or anybody else. The "country grammar" that I have is a representation of not only me, but my peers as well as the majority of the urban areas in St. Louis. I'm a person who appreciates good music no matter the genre. If it sounds good, its good. I'm far from 1-dimensional and I try to display my versatility when I can. Everybody just know that I'm always true to me and thats what my music is built around.
