-The Fix SynopsisBloodied, barefoot, and branded like cattle, a mysterious woman comes to town with an aim to kill the son of a bitch that done her wrong. Cast Jordan Ladd as THE STRANGER
Jordan Ladd has starred in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof and Eli Roth's Cabin Fever. She has also appeared in Hostel: Part II, Waiting, Broken Lizard's Club Dread, and the infamous Thanksgiving trailer. Her grandfather, Western movie legend Alan Ladd, perfected the "mysterious stranger" archetype in Shane, and her mom kicked ass every Wednesday night for four years on "Charlie's Angels." Basically, being a badass is in her blood. Jordan will next be seen starring in the upcoming film Grace.
Dean Stockwell as THE SHERIFF
Dean Stockwell made his screen debut in 1945 with Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra in Anchors Aweigh, and he's been churning out classic performances ever since. Perhaps best known to modern audiences for his role on "Quantum Leap," Dean began his career as a child actor in The Boy With Green Hair and The Secret Garden, went on to appear in the cult classics Psych-Out, The Last Movie, and The Dunwich Horror, and performed quite memorably in David Lynch's 1986 masterpiece Blue Velvet. He was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Married to the Mob and can currently be seen on "Battlestar Galactica."
Mark Polish as AL
Collaborating with his brother Michael, Mark Polish has written, produced and acted in a series of critically acclaimed films, including Twin Falls Idaho, Northfork, and The Astronaut Farmer. He is also the co-creator of the comic book series "Salvador." Mark is currently filming the upcoming feature Manure with Billy Bob Thorton, and is set to star alongside Winona Ryder, Chevy Chase, Hilary Duff, Sean Astin, Josh Holloway, and Jon Cryer in Stay Cool.
David Yow as THE PREACHER
David Yow was the lead singer for the seminal Austin band Scratch Acid, as well as the legendary Chicago band, The Jesus Lizard. While fronting The Jesus Lizard, Yow toured with Nirvana, recorded several albums with maverick producer Steve Albini, and put on some of the most insanely manic live shows in the history of rock music. Head over to YouTube for a preponderance of evidence. David is currently fronting the L.A. based band Qui.
Persephone Apostolou as THE WHORE
A graduate of NYU's Tisch Drama Program, Persephone Apostolou can be seen in the upcoming film, The Metrosexual, with Colm Meaney. In addition to acting in Film and TV ("Without a Trace", "ER"), Persephone is currently working alongside writer Larry Wilson (Beetlejuice) on a Sci-Fi Dramatic Feature.
Liam Dunaway O'Neill as THE BARKEEP
Liam Dunaway O'Neill spent four years studying History at Trinity College in Connecticut before finally deciding to join the family business and officially pursue his acting career. He made his big screen debut in Last Goodbye, starring opposite David Carradine and his mother, Academy Award winning actress Faye Dunaway.
Brett Jacobsen as THE BIG ONE
Brett Jacobsen has acted in about a hundred movies that you've never seen. But you will hopefully see him starring in the upcoming feature film Blink. Fun fact: Brett photographed director Dennis Hauck's first two short films, and Dennis likewise photographed three of Brett's short films. Brett landed his role in AL's BEEF through pure cronyism.
