Élève-ingénieur de Centrale Paris (il obtiendra le diplôme en 1966), il s'adonne à la chanson pendant ses études, connaît un succès d'estime avec sa chanson Autoroute Européenne Numéro 4, puis rencontre un succès énorme en 1966 avec les Élucubrations d'Antoine, pourtant lancée contre l'avis de son producteur Christian Fechner et de toute l'équipe des disques Vogue. Toujours en 1966 en France Antoine pesâmes un disque avec le groupe LES PROBLEMES; et en 1967 il eut un gros passé en Italie avec des pièces comme « Pietre », « La Felicità », « Le Divagazioni di Antoine » et « Cannella », et entama une prolifique collaboration avec le chanteur/auteur italien Herbert Pagani. Dans les ans soixante-dix on retira des scènes pour suivre sa passion navigateur et de auteur des documentaires dans les Îles des Mers du Sud. Antoine Muraccioli (real name) was born on June 4 1944 in Tamatave (Madagascar) and is a french singer and author with origin of Isle of Corsica. Graduated engineer in 1966 started to work in the music business in 1964 and tasted the success with his song "Autoroute Européenne N° 4" doubled in 1966 with the hit single "Les Elucubrations d'Antoine" for the major french label Vogue. In 1966 in France he recorded an LP with the group LES PROBLEMES; and in 1967 it had a large one succeeding in Italy with pieces like “Pietre, “La Felicità”, “Le Divagazioni di Antoine” and “Cannella” starting a prolific collaboration with italian author and singer Herbert Pagani.
