I make a living in a fairly non-traditional way. It is quite nice actually. Other than that I read, write, paint, and do other things that seem lame to most people. I am a liberal (and when I say liberal I don't mean liberal in the sense of say Bill Clinton, I mean way to the left of that.) who still prizes some material goods (Sorry but I love my Wii too much to live in a cave), and can be laughed at as a hopeless romantic. I enjoy finding out what makes people, nations, and other groups tick. I am other random things that people insert in here to be insightful and such.
I am currently working for my Masters in Political Science at the University of Connecticut, and no I have no clue what I'll do with it besides get another degree afterwards. Which is nice in a way, to get a degree for no real reason other than to receive an education.
It is funny, my first two years at this school were spent bemoaning how boring the area was, but since then I've discovered an area is only as interesting as you make it. The Middle of Nowhere CT has as many great places to explore as anywhere else, maybe more. All it takes is the constitution to take a right onto a street you've never seen, and keep driving until you end up completely lost and overcome by the beauty of the world around you. And after all of that, Uconn is stuck with me another two years.
