My Interests

My interests are pretty easily summed up: My wife and our son, our two dogs and one feline emperess, and hunting everything. Basically if there is a season in Idaho for it, I hunt it. You can't beat a good barbequed elk steak or Chukar stir-fry!

I'd like to meet:

I would really like to meet someone who can show me how to become independantly wealthy very quickly so that I can quit working all the time and start HUNTING all the time. I am pretty tired of being chained to a job and a desk and I am ready to retire. Is it too early to start that? I would think that Robert Kiowsaki would be pretty high on my list of people to meet. He is the guy who wrote Rich Dad/Poor Dad and all the ensuing books. Smart guy who might be able to mentor me through the midlife crisis I currently find myself in.

Music:

Lately I have found that music doesn't do as much for me as it used to. I do like to listen to music, I just don't like any of the popular stuff. I really even have a hard time likning any of the "country" music these days. I usually find myself listening to the same old Garth Brooks CD's from the 1990's and my three Jack Johnson CD's which are my favorites. To be honest...I listen to a ton of talk radio. I get Colin Cowherd in the morning on 1350 ESPN Radio and Michael Savage and the Savage Nation on 670 KBOI on the way home. Pretty boring and old of me...I know.Check out this funny music video if you haven't already... ..

Movies:

I really liked the newest Die Hard. Shooter was good too. So far this summer has not been great for movies. I enjoy wathcing the Pirates of the Carribean and thought that Captain Jack was very well done.

Television:

I really like the outdoor channel, but due to our recent move to Tinbuctu (South of Nampa)we can't get cable anymore and Dish Network doesn't offer the Outdoor Channel on their lower packages...bummer. My name is Earl seems to have captivated my attention as well. I don't really have much time to watch television anymore with Brooks getting older and always wanting our attention and having a huge lawn, lots of mature fruit trees and roses to deal with plus the enormous garden that we planted I am always working in the yard if the sun is up.

Books:

Anything about real estate or investing. My favorites are Robert Kiowsaki. Right now I just finished a book about Focus (can't focus on what it was called) and I am starting the new book by Allan Greenspan.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ! and MacGyver, that guy could do anything with a paperclip and some chewing gum.
