Sailing. Pirates. Welding. Art. Scuplture. Technology. Reading. Anything but work. Oh, and not remodeling or housework either. I am interested in the Flying Spaghetti Monster (all praise his noodliness) and computers, design, painting, drawing, music, reading (particular interest in reading these days) my beautiful daughters having some future on this dying planet, and the health and happiness of the people I love.
Old friends - you know who you are! I am pretty much online all the time for work, but may not get to myspace much, so if you really are an old friend of mine, email me at sarah at sailingserenity dot com and I will be sure to find you through good old fashion email.
Take a look at my top 8!! My step-daughter, some of the kids I used to nanny for, also my awesome cousins and little brother! They are all super-cool! I am so proud to have been a part of your lives!
Yes. Hardcore, metal, punk, and 80's pop music are a surefire hit around here. Expect to hear anything from Iron Maiden, Parasites, and All, to Pink Floyd, Snapcase, and Men Without Hats when visiting to my ipod.
Serenity. Oh, and we all liked the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe as well as Madagascar. Three movies in the same year. Banner year for Hollywood.
um, what?
Yes. I really like books, but I have been described as indiscriminate. This past year or so I have read the Narnia series (again) to my daughters, The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, Still Life with Woodpecker, Another Roadside Attraction, Voyaging on a Small Income, The Orchid Thief, Striptease, Sick Puppy, Cryptonomicon, Kiln People, and Earth by David Brin. I liked the Philip Pullman books the best, oh and Earth was quite a treat.
His Noodliness, of course, and my beautiful, strong, courageous, generous, and kind daughters.
