Loomis & The Lust, all pop rock hook and melody, has been making a name for themselves in and around their hometown of Santa Barbara, California. Having formed in early 2008 at the impetus of band namesake and guitar-wielding front man, Will Loomis, this youthful rock four-piece consists of Thomas Masker on guitar, Jeremy Berisha on drums, and Noah Babcock on bass.Loomis & The Lust credits their early success to a healthy, fun-loving attitude. Due to the band's relentlessly danceable style, audiences can't help but have a great time."Our music is the type of thing you can dance to or put on at a party with some friends, ” says Loomis. The song "Bright Red Chords" is a shout out to the joys of listening to vinyl. The band's first LP with producer Brandon Mason (Secret Machines, The Zutons) fuses the best of the 60s and 70s mojo with fresh energy and contagious lyrics. While the release date is not till June, the LP is already turning heads. The single Bright Red Chords will appear in the Urban Outfitters sampler in May. The song boasts the band's signature buoyancy, which continues throughout the EP.
