We are Raw. We are simply a group of women, young and old, who enjoy the game of softball. We play for the Cactus Cities Softball League (CCSL) every Sunday at Cesar Chavez Park. We also play in tournaments around the Valley. Last year we finished first in the C division and qualified for the Gay Softball World Series which was held here in Phoenix. Our goal hasn’t changed from last year so we are preparing for the 2008 World Series in Seattle this year. 2007 began as a rebuilding year and now with the addition of some great talent, 2008 is looking even better with the season running February through May. Our team is not just about softball, our team is about friendships, loyalty and family. Our love of softball may have brought us together on the field, but our friendship is what keeps us a TEAM!!We have chosen over the years to sponsor ourselves and this year we need the communities help.
