Stone Brewing Co.

We were started by two gentlemen (or so they say), Steve Wagner and Greg Koch, who love to brew beer. A few years before creating the brewery, Steve did some recording with his band at a recording studio Greg had recently opened. A few months later, they met again at a brewing class held at UC Davis. Over the next three years they kept in touch constantly talking about beer until getting the guts to build their own brewery. On February 1st, 1996, Stone Brewing Company was born and since then have brewed some of the greatest beers known to mankind. Mostly known for our Arrogant Bastard Ale, we have been known to make a very delicious Russian Imperial Stout and our Ruination IPA is known as one of the best IPA's worldwide.
