From early childhood Demetrius has loved to sing. His Joy for singing was matured through his church attendance, and performances. In 2005 he officially became a recording artist and songwriter, at that time Demetrius Stubbs also known as Meety; not only performed but was also nominated at the 2005 Cacique Awards; he was one of the TOP 3 finalist for "BEST Bahamaian Gospel Artist" for the Songs: "Salvation In His Precious Love." As he continued his artistic path he was also nominated for the 2006 Marlin awards for the song: "Take Up Your Bible." After a two year journey, he was blessed with his first HIT song: "Revolution." Demetrius Stubbs a.k.a. Meety is producing his first concert November 30th 2007 at BFM BAHAMAS FAITH MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL, Nassau.
