I've been making beats for about 2 years now, and I'm still trying to get better. I'm a sample-based beatmaker, but I've been delving into the VST's as well now (even working on my musical theory knowledge)! To me, there's nothing better than finding that perfect sample (popular or not), chopping that shit up, and putting your own stamp on it. Oh, yeah. I chop EVERYTHING in my beats. You'll never hear me lift 2-4 bars from a track, loop it up, and throw some drums over it. Anyways, hope you like what you hear.
