My name is Cody Meyer, a single 28 year old male, hailing originally from Huron, South Dakota. Attended (most of the time) Nossi College of Art in Nashville, Tennessee and am currently living la vida loca in sunny Margaritaville, Fla. Tattooing to pay the bills. I am the the proud father of two young boys, Riggs the Boxer, and Koi the Pug. I am a very chill cat, loving my seclusion from all these bullshit routines and regiments. I enjoy a great many things, such as drawing and painting, playing guitars, hangin' with my dogs, watching good movies with better women, fishing, reading, listening to better music than you, and tattooing. I am very outgoing and motivated, and always reach for my dreams without regard to consequence. I believe in one thing... myself. And until that one perfect-fitting woman in this off-the-rack world comes along and makes me believe in her, thats the way it shall remain. I am very easy to get along with I think, and enjoy the company of good people who dont feel it necesary to act some part. My friends are all uniquely themselves, which is why I dont have many. I am trustworthy and loyal just like my boxer, and when in a relationship, always 100% faithful. This has led to much heartbreak. I enjoy my alone time, relaxing with my thoughts (I use my right hand for that,) and moonlit nights on the beach. I love to travel. I also have a deep bond with the written language, and have written many, many volumes of poetry and filled other countless journals with short novels. I have many intrigues, too many to mention, but I will always love learning the most...

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet my future children and see how fuckin' cool they are. I'd like to meet my dad when he was my age now and hear his war stories as told to a buddy; I'd like to meet the guy that invented the television and exile him to the Siberian tundra; or how about all of my dead heroes who were just too selfish to share any longer. I'd like to meet my future wife too.... she better be fuckin cool. No... she will be cool. The coolest. I'd like to meet my favorite tattoo artists, all my favorite musicians and all the women from my past; I want to see if I infest their thoughts as they do mine. I want to meet the patriarch of the Bush family and castrate the man. I want to meet my mother when she had dreams and see if her passion resembles my own. I'd like to meet God or Steve McQueen and have a drink with them. I want to meet myself half-way from now on.

I dont have enough time for this box.

Movies:

Ones that dont suck. I happen to be a self-proclaimed, unofficial appreciator of cinema. Again, this list is too long to even bother mentioning.

Television:

The History Channel, CSI shows, Law and Order, TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, and Court TV.

Books:

The classics. Kerouak, Burroughs, Steinbeck, Hemmingway, anything Chuck Poliniuk puts to paper, Bukowski, Hesse, Trumbo, Bradbury, Kafka and Thompson. Also war books and samauri shit.

Heroes:

My parents, all the great people I have worked with (and on,) The late, great Dr. Gonzo, my sister, Kris, and anyone who pursues their dreams without regard to consequence.

ive painted myself into a tomb since she ran away; the shades i live so brilliantly by have replaced the tone of my heart and it leaves me alone to wonder the next time it will break into color.....
