About Me

Electric guitar was the focus of the first 11 years of my musical career. One day I was asked to audition on bass guitar for a zydeco band called Yankee Zydeco Company. Not only did I pass the audition but the clouds cleared and a new light shown down. Ever since I've been basking in the those rays and following this new path of musical enlightenment on my way to becoming a Jedi of groove.

I've traveled under a variety of conditions and played live shows in various venues in front of small groups and large audiences with Yankee Zydeco and more recently with the jamband Shotgun Jubilee. I'm always open to either join an existing group or possibly help start a new project.

*I'm very interested in the alt-country/indie/acoustic genre, specifically: Wilco, Whiskeytown, Uncle Tupelo, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Adams, Jack Johnson, ALO...

As some of you may or may not know, a couple months ago, I tendered my resignation to Mark Mang and the rest of Yankee Zydeco Company. Although I feel it was the best decision for all parties involved...
