Born and raised in Arizona, I moved to Ohio originally to go to college. I love the snow but can't stand the winter wind. I stayed here after college because I was able to find a job right away, and I wasn't sure if I really wanted to go back to Arizona just yet. Well, I'm glad I stayed. If I hadn't, I don't think I'd be the woman I am today. Being away from my family has shown me the importance of family, but it's also helped me become the independent and confident woman I turned out to be.
I'm down to earth, love to laugh, and love the Lord. Yes, I’m a Christian and I’m proud of it. And just because I say that doesn’t mean I think I’m better than anybody else. If you knew me, you would know I don't have that attitude at all. I’m far from perfect, and I know it. I do my best to be kind and loving to others because I don’t want others to treat me bad. God keeps giving me so much more love all the time, so I have enough to share. If you love someone, show them; let them know. Sometimes just that "look" that no one else can give them is enough to let them know. Sometimes all they need is a gentle touch on the cheek. So let them know before you can’t anymore.
My favorite past times are playing pool and riding my Harley, paid for with my "extra" Mary Kay money, but I really enjoy making new friends. Oh, and did I mention the Mary Kay facials? I have so much fun at facials, and it's my job too! :)
(The Mary Kay way, God first, family then friends second, career third. And team members are friends, of course. Keep your priorities straight.)
I started in the Mary Kay business in April, 2001. My original intentions were just to make a little extra cash so I could buy my motorcycle. OK, some people may think saying "Mary Kay Consultant" and "Harley Davidson" in the same sentence is an oxymoron. Well, I've always liked motorcycles and I wanted the best. Remember, if you dream it, you can achieve it. What a better way to get the bike of my dreams, by doing something that helps women build confidence in themselves. Besides that, I didn't have to cut into my personal budget for something I wanted, and I cut a 5 year loan by half as well; and that made me VERY happy. Well, here it is, 7 years later and STILL having fun at my job. It’s great! It’s not JUST a job. It’s a career that any woman could get use to.
Mary Kay’s philosophy of God first, family second and career third should be a standard for all businesses and families. I love Mary Kay products and believe if you like Oil of Olay, Avon, Clinique, etc., then you're going to love Mary Kay. I don't sell the products. They sell themselves. I love teaching people about the products during personal facials, skin care classes, and I also will do makeovers for your entire bridal party. It's great fun, so ask me how to get your free makeover! And remember, when you schedule your facial, it will be ALL about YOU! It's YOUR time to feel IMPORTANT, and that is my intention. So please schedule your FREE skin care or facial a.s.a.p. because I promise you will love the product and have a great time!
Make the best of your life by doing your best, and do not settle for anything but the best, in yourself and from those around you. Work together and you will accomplish more. Stay positive and your attitude will reflect in your work, and people will like you more. Never be taken for granted. And don't forget to live by the golden rule.
