Grenadine’s always been unconventional, and it shows in her eclectic mixes of techno ranging from minimal chunky funk, to melodic, shuffle-driven edgy tech house, to percussive, speaker pounding hard techno.
She was influenced at an early age by the industrial sounds of KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, and Ministry, just to name a few. It was not soon there after that she discovered the sounds of Gabber late in 1994 at the age of 13. Over time, her tastes in electronic music spanned through nearly all genres.
Born in Indianapolis and transplanted into a rural southern Indiana community, Grenadine has always worked hard to find the sounds that she knew were out there.. Music, in all forms, has always been a part of Grenadine’s life. From being classically trained on the tuba (seriously) to rocking the decks with her versatile selection of techno, Grenadine is proving that she is one to be reckoned with.
