Born on April 23, 1983 on the island of St. Croix located in the Caribbean, there where I was raised and currently still living there. Enjoying the blessing of life, trying to make the best out of it. Being that time is passing by so quickly, I try to keep steady holding on to my hopes and nothing keeps me holding on except through faith and trust in my Lord, indeed He is able to do all things. So praise and thanks to Him who has made us feel so secure without any doubt. As you come to know me, maybe not in first sight but time will tell that you will find me to be friendly, honest, soft-hearted, helpful, productive, shy, religious. Things I like to do will be anything that comes to football (soccer), writing poetry, reading, being on the computer, learning new things, traveling, meeting new people, joking around, dancing, listening to music and singing. I spend most of my time in prayers and supplications just hoping for a better and happy end of my life and for every soul that ever walked the face of the earth.
Hamit Altintop was born on December 8, 1982 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany a Turkish national footballer. Hamit Altintop is considered as one of the best players in Turkey and one of the best midfielders in the German Bundesliga. He is blessed with blistering pace and an eye for goal. He is known by his teammates for his powerful long range shots, which rarely miss the goal. Altintop is a versatile midfielder and can play either in defence or as a striker. He is known to score often even though he hardly ever plays as a striker, as shown when he played for Schalke and so far with Bayern Munich. Aside from his striking abilities, he has spectacular tackling and defending abilities. It isn't unusual to see Altintop run back to his goal line to help his fellow defenders of penetrating the ball from their opponents. He is also known to be a superb assister, usually creating accurate crosses. He is the identical twin brother of footballer Halil Altintop, who was born 10 minutes later than Hamit. Hamit started his professional career in local German club Wattenscheid in 2000 along with his brother. As successful performances grabbed the attention of bigger clubs, Hamit was transferred to Schalke 04 in 2003, where he played in a primarily defensive midfield role. Hamit played in the Champions League, scoring a wonderful goal against AC Milan and he also played in the semi-finals of the UEFA cup. In the 2006-2007 summer transfer window, Schalke signed his brother Halil from FC Kaiserslautern, Kaiserslautern were relegated on the final day of the 2005-2006 season. Schalke came second in the Bundesliga, only pipped by VfB Stuttgart by 2 points.Hamit joined Germany's top-team Bayern Munich for the 2007/2008 season. He freely transferred from FC Schalke 04, another team in Germany's first league, the Bundesliga. Altintop ironically celebrated his first goal in his first game for Munich, when they faced the Brazilian champions Sao Paolo FC. Munich went on winning the game 2-1 after his spectacular free-kick. Remaining as one of Munich's starters, he scored another beautiful left-foot goal out of 30 meters distance against Werder Bremen in the Liga-Pokal. Munich completed the match with a 4-1 victory.
Halil Altintop was born on December 8, 1982 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Halil, a Turkish national footballer playing for Bundesliga team FC Schalke 04. Halil is the identical twin brother of footballer Hamit Altintop. Halil started his professional career in the local German club Wattenscheid 09 in the year of 2000 along with his brother. As successful performances grabbed the attention of bigger clubs, in 2003 Halil was transferred to Kaiserslautern, and his brother to FC Schalke 04. “When I was playing for Kaiserslautern the U21 national trainer (Uli) Stielike rang me up twice and tried to whet my appetite for the DFB, because of the high prestige. I may have been born in Germany, but by temperament I belong more to Turkey. The same goes for my brother Hamit. And don't forget our parents come from there. Just how ambivalent the issue of national and footballing identity can sometimes be: It was a great feeling scoring a goal for my country against my country.” Halil, who plays as a striker, is a lethal finisher. Halil finished third highest scorer in the Bundesliga for the 2005/2006 season with 20 goals. Halil Alt,,ntop was born on December 8, 1982 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Halil who plays as a striker, is a lethal finisher. Halil finished third highest scorer in the Bundesliga for the 2005/2006 season with 20 goals.(Unfortunately, Halil and Hamit lost their father at the age of two. "Our mother raised us, along with our older sisters, while working for 25 years straight." “She taught us the importance of hard work and how to overcome obstacles.”) (Hamit): One day she came out to watch me during one game, but because she gets really nervous she prefers to see the match on television. Nonetheless, she always asks how they did when she can’t watch the games on TV. When asked about the differences between himself and his twin brother, Hamit says that they are the same on the inside but externally they differ. “He dresses differently; his clothes and how he carries himself are all different. He’s a little more reserved. It takes him a while to warm up to people. I like to hang out with people I just meet and joke around.” And on their relationship on the pitch, he says that they didn’t spend a lot of time on the national team together. Hamit says that the coach was unable to see how useful they could be together on the pitch as they can both detect each other’s every move. Neither of them like defeat and after each game they have a little session where they analyze their mistakes. “There can be some downsides to playing together, though.” Both victories and defeats are blown out of proportion by the fans, media, officials and players. “There is a fine line between victory and defeat,” he says. In his opinion if a soccer player does his job on the pitch well, even if he happens to miss a penalty that bounces off the post, he’ll still receive the love of the fans.)..
