About Me

Before moving to electroacoustic and acousmatic music Victor Cerullo published two synthesizer instrumental albums, namely "Ludus" (Groove Unlimited, Netherlands, 1998) and "Loneflyer" (Groove Unlimited, Netherlands, 2000, presented at the E-Live concert in Holland in 1999).
After the release of the album "Visions" (Electroshock Records, Russia, 2003), inspired by the movies and life of Andrey Tarkovsky, and his participations to the compilation "Electroacoustic Music Vol.IX" (Electroshock Records, Russia, 2004) with the piece "Rusalki", and to the pop compilation "World Wide Kind 2" (Earth Academy Records, UK, 2006) with the electronic song "Freedom is Like a Sweet" (recorded in 2000) no new works have been published in the form of a compact disc.
The pieces available from this MySpace page are part of the album project "Caravaggio" (unpublished, 2005-2007), inspired by the life and paintings of Michelangelo Merisi.
In recent years Victor Cerullo has been also working on experimental projects in the field of music technology including the definition of the "mtx" tuning file format and the development of microtuning enhancements for Max/MSP. He wrote an in-depth technical e-paper on how to build microtonal synthesizers with Max/MSP available here .
