Randi polishes her music with stories that reflect the trials, tribulations and triumphs of her daily life. Each lyric is designed to convey the various layers of Randi's spirit; the definitive moments and circumstances that have framed her existence. As a child, Randi was saturated in music by learning to play the piano as early as she learned to walk. While also learning the fundamentals of music theory, Randi began to contribute her Alto Saxaphone talents to an array of local bands. These experiences led Randi to picking up the guitar at the tender age of eighteen, and embarking upon songwriting. As Randi began singing her own lyrics, she moved to Vegas, Nevada to sharpen her musicianship on the concert circuit. Performing live at an array of poetry, radio and live internet, broadcast showcases, Randi began recording her debut, LP. Back In The Shadows was recorded in the Spring of 2008, and spawned the critical success of such smash-hits that include, All I Can See, as well as the album's title track. Each track is regarded by Randi as an illustration of her internal struggles, peace, and overall sanction. Influenced by such industry artists who include Tom Petty, Melissa Etheridge, Kurt Cobain and Aaron Lewis, Randi has found the inspiration to continuously write songs of substance and innovation. Negating the trends that often times categorize other artists, Randi is content in existing beyond boundaries and regulation. As a solo artist, Randi is privileged to be able to develop a style, poise and decorum that is not manufactured or desaturated by the creative control of other individuals.
