In 1989, my grandfather was in a hospital on the Fort Bliss Army Base in El Paso, Texas. He was in his late seventies and my father and I went to visit him. My grandfather was a Colonel and Doctor in the Army. During our visit, my grandfather told us about many strange events that had occured in his career. The events began in Roswell in 1947.In 1947, my grandfather, grandmother, dad, and aunt were living in Chattanooga, TN. My dad was almost 5 and my aunt 6. My grandfather was sent out on a plane with no notice. He arrived in Roswell. People were upset. Apparently, there was an aircraft crash and he was there to look at the bodies. My grandfather thought that this was odd, ...there were doctors at the base and he didn't need to be flown in. Then he saw the alien bodies. At first he thought they might have been deformed indigenous children. The Army had him do medical tests and some kind of dental exams. My grandfather quickly discovered that these bodies were not human. There was a panic, the army personel were upset, and there was a chaos because no one knew what to do. All of a sudden, my grandfather was escorted to an airplane and flown back to Tennessee. He estimates that he was in Roswell for 3 hours and of course was instructed that everything was Top Secret. At the hospital in El Paso, my grandfather told us that over his career he had more events that involved UFO's and Aliens. What he told us was; that Aliens do not come from far out in space, that they are living here on this planet; they have technology that allows them to appear invisible; they have a problem with reproduction of their species; and that they are concerned about the warfare of humans. My father seemed upset and nervous about him talking about this. We left for the day.The next day, My Aunt, her husband, their two daughters, my grandmother, my father, and my two brothers went to visit my grandfather at the hospital. Before we even walked in the hospital, a fire alarm went off and all the patients were brought outside. My grandfather was brought in a wheelchair. There were Military men with him. My grandfather seemed upset. We didn't visit much, just watching the confusion of the fire alarm evacuation. When the alarm went off and patients started to re-enter the hospital, we said good-bye to my grandfather. We never went into the hospital. My father, my brothers, and I were leaving to go back to California the next day. My Aunt's family and Grandparents lived in El Paso. My Uncle worked for the military on Top Secret projects. He was the nicest guy but never spoke of his work. I told him what my grandfather had said and he just said that medications in hospitals can make you go loopy. My grandfather died less than a week later in that hospital.
