About Me

Greetings my name is Adam 'Archie' Archer based in rural North Warwickshire (the home of Shakespeare), England. My main passion is wildlife especially birds but moths, butterflies and dragonflies are another weird turn on! Being cooped up in an office all week I enjoy roaming around my patch - Alvecote Pools SSSI in North Warwickshire where I'm the volunteer warden. I also travel the length and breadth of these wonderful Isles in search of rare birds ('twitching' as it's often referred to in the UK & 'listing' as it's known in the US). My favourite places in Britain include Cornwall, Isles of Scilly, Shetland and the Western Isles. I also love the good ole' United States, India and Italy.I have a long suffering partner called Sammy and a beautiful lil' daughter called India (aged 6).I am a committed member of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), The British Trust for Ornithology (BTO), Birdlife International, The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, The Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, The West Midland Bird Club, Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone I've ever known, anyone I know now and anyone I will know in the future.Always keen to meet keen environmentalists, birders, twitch headz, mad listerz, wildlife enthusiasts & football fans (except scousers).
