Cast The Fire is the result of two years of collaborative efforts between Deeplife Records CEO, Andy Turner and JITAbeat Media Group CEO, Chris Salisbury. In 2004, Andy decided to start an online Christian Radio Station called One Life Radio. It launched New Year’s Eve 2005 (going into 2005) with the first ever broadcast of what was eventually to become "The Blend" hosted by dj404. Andy ran the station for the next year or so, until he no longer had the time to devote to the station. At this time Chris Salisbury stepped forward and offered to be the station’s Program Director, recruiting DJ’s and loading the station’s playlist with music. This continued for some time until Chris expressed an interest in taking ownership of the station in 2006. Andy agreed and OLR was transferred to Chris’ JITAbeat Media Group. Chris recruited TechnoChristian.com to be the sole operator of the station’s live internet transmitter. After about 6 months of running the station, Chris noticed the station’s low numbers and decided to investigate ways to bring in new listeners and build the station’s online presence. After a few months of planning and praying, the vision for Cast The Fire was born. CTF effectively launched the last week of June 2007 and plans to continue the course until the Lord’s return.
Our vision is simple. We want to be a major force when it comes to Christian downloadable media. We want to offer original live streaming, podcast, and downloadable content with a wide diverse range of styles. From our roots of electronic dance music, to rock, r&b, rap, church services, etc.
Our live broadcast transmission is a 24 hour stream, however sometimes things happen that cause us to be offline. We have DJ's worldwide who contribute to our station to make it the best we can. We also are developing a radio and DJ servicing program only available to those who meet our high standards.
The future is bright for Cast The Fire.
