I am an artist who loves to create her art with †found objectsâ€. What inspires me to create my Sculptures, Mosaics, 3 dimensional Murals and Furniture is using found and recycled materials.
Whether it is glass, broken china, rusty metals, old gardening tools, forgotten paints, stones, paper, plastics, discarded furniture or what ever I may find that’s inspirational, I will use it. I am never bored. I have a blast interrupting my take on American Folk Art.I also sing. Back in the day I used to perform although now I just sing for pure pleasure. I love everything from Classical to Rock and R&B Classics, Jazz to Hip Hop. My taste in music is diverse to say the least. Also my thumb is green. It is no Brag if it is fact. I love to grow plants, which I sell along with my artwork and I do landscaping. I have extensive Perennial Gardens of which I am very proud. Gardening is my touchstone. It centers me. There is nothing better or more important then tending to Mother Earth. We all need to start living Green! Every little bit we can do makes a huge impact on Mother Earth.Recycle, change your light bulbs to high producing, low energy bulbs, ride a bike or walk to destinations instead of driving your car. Bring plastic bags with you when grocery shopping, reuse them, better yet use canvas bags instead. Every little bit helps.
