About Me
Proficient on a wide variety of musical instruments and electronic gadgets, Started playing drums at the age of ten, Toured with 25 piece jazz orchestra at age 16, First paid recording studio session at age 17. Played with a gaggle of jazz and rock bands throughout the 80's and 90's while managing hotels, most notably Humphrey's Half Moon Inn resort and concert venue. In 1996 started On-Tour Worldwide- Entertainment Travel Company with best friend and future crook. In 1999 caught the crook stealing away the already multi-million dollar business with a couple of key employees to start a new company and poof we went separate ways, the hard way...with lawyers, judges, appeals, business managers, appraisers, consultants, councilors, court appointed accountants, private investigators, more lawyers, etc. . . The courts finally dissolved On-Tour Worldwide and I immediately started Tourwerks Entertainment Travel on my own, using the settlement money I was awarded in court from my ex-best friend turned crook. The split was a blessing in disguise as it enabled me to build a state of the art recording studio inside of the Tourwerks offices. In 2001 I met this amazing audiophile wearing a sarong named Hugh Herrera. This shaman-like DJ with an amazing spirit and a deep knowledge of all things audible, hooked me up with a nasty addiction to turntables, a Urei 1620 and the constant need to find rare vinyl. In 2003 I Started hosting all night private dance partys in the recording studio which became known as "The Office" or "Werk". Presenting legendary Dj's like Danny Krivit, Dj Harvey, Maurice Fulton, Phil Mison, Gerry Rooney, Citizen Kane, Paul T, Kasey Goto, Alex from Tokyo, Hugh Herrera - H-track, Eric B., Matsu & Nanami, Art Hodge, etc.I am currently creating and producing magically delicious boogie at the infamous Werk Recording Studios and record label in San Diego, CA USA.
