About Me

FYI, the myspace people moved around and deleted people, not sure why. dont hate. Send me an invite if you got dropped. ////Update: My book, Permanent Temporary, is now finished! Just ten years in the making! There will likely be an official launch party sometime this fall in NYC. I’ll keep you posted.Check it out at http://www.lulu.com/content/323670 ////...I am very laid back, but very motivated in things that interest me. If i had my way i'd surf all day, but i want to stimulate a career. I am in the 'big city' now in order to create a platform for myself in order to free up my time in the future. I am a marketing consultant and I am very interested in media, both traditional and digital.I am also a writer and I love to explore different aspects of society and culture. My first non-fiction novel will be released in the Fall of 06. I have also written various screenplays and film shorts.I like to read, make music, mountain bike, mountainboard, travel, hike, snorkel, surf, and goof off.you can take a peek at my previous works and other work related stuff at www.gregcoghill.comConsidering MySpace is often a music related site i will mention that I am also very into independent music. I was previously the marketing Director for Independent Musician Magazine in San Francisco, and I used to work at the Knitting Factory in NYC. And if you are wondering how i have so many friends, yes, i am very popular, but i was one of the cool new people when i first signed up, and i accept everyone. But i definitely prefer you say hello before adding me as a friend. So for all you marketing and music myspace whores, to quote Seinfeld, "You still say hello..."

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Other writers, readers, media and marketing people. Other people who are interested in the dynamics of the economy, politics, and world issues. Other people who are interested in spirituality and living life well. Others who are interested in avoiding the negative corporate influence that plagues modern culture.
