About Me

I don't believe in TROUBLE. I don't believe in PAIN. I don't believe that there is NOTHING left but running here again.I don't believe in PROMISE. I don't believe in CHANCE. I don't believe you can resist the things that make no sense.I don't believe in SILENCE, because silence seems too slow. I don't believe in ENERGY if tension is too low.I don't believe in PANIC. I don't believe in FEAR. I DO believe PROPHECY so don't shed any tears.I'm just some Christian guy that loves people and his friends. I was born and raised in East St Louis, Illinois under the watchful eye of my grandparents (on my mothers side). I pretty much learned to fend for myself at an early age when I lost my mother at the age of 7 and my father was....well.............lets just say he wasn't around. Unfortunately me and my grandfather didn't exactly get along (I kinda look like my father and he really didn't like him). Anyway my grandmother turned out to be my saving grace and kept me grounded. Still because of the constant and sometimes dangerous friction between me and my grandfather I had to move out at 16. I moved in with my aunt for a couple of weeks and then to my grandmothers (on my fathers side) for a few months, then to my other aunts for a year....WHEW. Tired of reading yet? Okie dokie then I'll keep going. After my aunts house started to become overly crowded I voluntarily moved back into my grandmothers house (father's mother again). I was blessed to stay there for a full 2 years before moving out to attend college at the University of Missouri, Colombia. I LOVED THAT SCHOOL...well at least the people. The educational aspect of it needs some SERIOUS IMPROVEMENT though. But I made life long friends there that I cherish to this day. I guess being so used to moving around so much during the 4 years prior; being made to, or having the desire to move 6 times in the 3 years I was there really didn't affect me that much. What would affect me for the rest of my days would be what was said to me by a "councilor", in the middle a hallway, on one of my last days at Mizzou. After I presented to him my portfolio of original art and assignment instructed designs (I was an Architecture major). He said I was in the wrong school and the wrong state for that type of art. I was instructed to either go to New York or head to California!! Oooooook so there I was left alone in the hall with my first MAJOR life changing decision. The choice was simple, poverty for sure (for I was out of money required for college) or a leap of faith with a venture to California that could lead to success or poverty still? I choose to trust in the Lord and leap, so I drove to Los Angeles, California. Now 7 years later here I stand, working for a major feature film company doing awesome computer special effects for the latest and greatest films......well not all of them have been so great LOL. I worked on and can be seen in the credits of: The Polar Express, 50 First Dates, The Haunted Mansion, Willard, Maid in Manhattan, Vanilla Sky, K-Pax, 61*, The Patriot, The Scorpion King, the soon to be released Monster House, Beowulf, Superman Returns..bla bla bla. I still don't talk to my father much (BUT we are both making an effort) and my grandfather passed away 2 years ago. Me and both my grandmothers are still very close though so I guess all and all........................ I'm doing ok.

My Interests

I guess I'm a simple kinda guy. I like photography and consider myself a minor at the skill. I LOVE with the beach!! I also like awsome night time drives through the city, so I can bask in the beauty of the city lights (with some smooth jazz playing in the background of course). I love that. I like roller blading (ok I'm learning) and most physical activities. I like to work out 3 times a week. I practice Wing Chun Kung Fu 4 days a week at LA Wing Chun; under the guidance of Si-Fu Eric Oram.I also play Capoeira at Mastre Boneco's, Capoeira Brasil training academy!! So all you Capoeiristas can call me, Musquetero! Eating right? Eh....I'm still working on that one. :)PLet everything that has breath praise the LORD. And in all your ways acknowledge HIM.Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

I'd like to meet:

One GOOD woman with INTEGERITY. Is it you?Ladies, just be yourself and show the world how wonderful you really are. You could be the most beautiful woman in the world and not even know it.

Music:

Rachel Stewart and Soft Jazz! Also, you give me a picturesque window over looking the city lights, my lady next to me with the lights turned low and SADE playing in the back ground and I'm in Heaven. I'm also a soundtrack guy. I find that I like most types of other music. Not too into rap unless it old school. But that song, "Gold Digger" is pretty good. Alternative, Jazz, Soft Rock, some hip-hop and easy listening.Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
