PortLife Music is an Entertainment Company. Focusing on the production and songwriting side of the music business. PortLife has strong grass roots origins and an exceptional ability in finding and developing some of the hottest talent in music. Started in the early 90's the company was named after the Port section of Cambridge, Massachusetts. PortLife Music has built their company by developing artists in and out of the studio. In 2002 PortLife released a highly acclaimed mixtape showcasing their production, “Kings of VA, Vol.1" hosted by DJ Kay Slay and shortly afterwards received the Unsigned Hype in The Source magazine. The PortLife Production Team consists of: Durone "Tombstone" aka "DJ Stone Patrone" Moore Producer/Songwriter from Jackson, Mississippi and Justin "J-TRX" Echols Producer/Songwriter from Gary, Indiana. Rounding out the team is RIGAROUS a female MC who was born in ST. Anns Jamaica but now resides in Queens, NY. Riga is a versatile artist who writes catchy songs while remaining a lyrical BEAST.
