I love talking with other people about all kinds of things from ancient history to pop culture, movies, music, books, politics, food, geography and travel. My favorite thing in life is learning about other cultures and other ways of looking at or experiencing the world. I am a people person- I enjoy hanging out with friends, dating, and meeting new people.I like most kinds of music, concerts, and music festivals. I love film festivals. Many, but not all, of my favorite movies are foreign, alternative or independent. My favorite play/opera is Oedipus written by Sophocles-music by Stravinsky-set and costumes by Taymor. I am interested in a variety of art, whether it's at a local gallery, art festival, or museum. My favorite traveling exhibit was at the Chicago Art Institute; it showed the coevolution between Van Gogh and Gaguin.I enjoy checking out new places and day trips. I want to see the whole world someday. I also like some active endeavors like biking, hiking, soccer, and canoeing.
