Skydog was formed in December, 2006. as a cover band. In 2007. the band performed in numerous venues playing covers of different blues and southern rock bands like The Allman Brothers Band, Cream, Blue Oyster Cult, Lynyrd Skynyrd etc. In August 2007. the drummer left the and during the next 8 months the band had certain difficulties in creating a productive, reliable, and most of all, creative environment for any serious work. Finaly, in April 2008., when Ana and Borna joined the band, things started to move.... After a year of 60's and 70's blues, band decided to change the set and include some funk and rock bands (Jamiroquai, Lenny Kravitz, Wild Cherries, Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam etc.) and succeeded to create a remarkable, modern sound. In May Skydog recorded their first song, simply called =) [smile] and started to work on their first album and regulary performing all over Croatia.
