Band Members: Got Gang Vocals? Whoever you want to bring is fine, but remember how the laws of thermodynamics can affect an already disorderly state. Google Steven Hawking and Entropy. If you have a whammy bar, I'm the type of person who will encourage you to use it. No Neumanns? No Problem! Bring every pedal you can, and make lots of feedback. I'll even get the skeleton rock shock guy to twist the knobs on your delay pedal if he's available. Professionally Certified Audio Engineer and Producer Mike Britt offers on the spot mastering in exchange for redbull and hard-limits the shit out of your metalcore and makes it way louder than your last recording but for some reason still not as loug as "real cds." oh well, I guess people like YOU should pay $300/h for a guy in the major leagues
Influences: Doc Brown, Timothy Leary, Kramer, Mr Burns, Skeletor, Krang, Otto the busdriver
Sounds Like: The Lack of so-called "sound proofing", Various Microphones, Tube Preamps, Pure Youthful Cutting Edge Creativity and Brilliance, Quinnisential of "I'm going to be sixteen forever" in High Definition 24bit stereo sound digitally remastered 2007 directors cut with some easily forgivable bass mistakes and some really really shitty sounding cheap cymbals purchased as a pack from guitar center but your friends won't notice. They'll probably be listening to the guy who's screaming.
If your band is in college or older, it'll probably sound good enough to get the attention of anyone who will possibly like you. Chances are you'll sit around waiting for your genious to be recognized but I'll occasionally check up on you and say something encouraging like "HEY CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT SHOW!!!"
If you're my friend's band or if I'm actually a member of the band, it will probably never be finished because the recording process will reveal a fatal flaw in our plan which will bring the project to a temporary halt while we go "back to the drawing board". Maybe we'll get the vocals done next month. (don't take that personally, I'm referring to like five different people)
If you're Snowcat, you can pay someone with really really expensive equipment to record the tracks in an hour or two and then take the tracks to my place and let me perform edits, effects, mixing, mastering, duplication, and packaging.
If you're Lina, you can do the same thing except with the cheapest mics possible.
Record Label: maybe
Type of Label: Indie
