About Me

I am who I am and I say what I feel. This often tends to be alot. There's nothing I feel that I don't feel right down to the deepest of me. Those that mind don’t really matter and those that really matter don’t mind. I’m intrigued by spirituality for I am convinced it is always better to feel too much, than to not feel at all. There's so much more between heaven and earth than meets the eye. Reason may take you from A to B, but Imagination can take you anywhere. I dare to be myself. It's always better to be a first rate version of yourself than to be a second rate version of someone else. And so I have my own fantasies, hopes, dreams and fears. I Explore, Dream, Discover. Every new experience can contribute a verse to this poem some call life. All I want is to make sure my poem turns out to be anything but ordinary.

My Interests

Jazz dance, eating too much Ben & Jerry’s, thinking that I’m right, dancing to electro with a mojito in my hand, imperfections, buying things I don’t need, getting cramps from laughing too hard, crying over nothing, my adorable friends, honesty, extravaganza, fashionata, the art of words, clouds, going out, things that mean nothing and everything at the same time, BIGGEST DISLIKES; stereotypes, a lack of structure, having no opinion, arriving late, being unforgiving and bitter, having to say goodbye or not getting the chance to say goodbye at all. wet wood, food with awkward structures (like spaghetti, tomatoes, jelly, spinach and mushrooms).

I'd like to meet:

People who speak French or English (I study French and English combined with religion), old familiar faces or people with extraordinary life stories and interests, people who have something eye-opening to say.

Music:

I like electro, minimal and drum 'n bass. But I tend to listen to the best of every other genre possible. (except for music that sounds like a "make-as-much-noise-as-you-can-contest" or grannies sing alongs at karaoke night)

Movies:

Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amélie Poulin, What Dreams May Come, Sin City, The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Clockwork Orange, Shakespeare In Love,...

Television:

I have this weird preference for reality TV, but I also watch The O.C.!(that makes me happy!)

Books:

The Discovery of heaven (Harry Mulish), The name of the Rose (Umberto Eco).

Heroes:

Misfits, smart and pretty people. I only look up to people I really know like friends, teachers and family or made up characters like Tinkerbell, Disney Princesses or Minny Mouse. My appreciation for celebrities doesn't go any further than "Love the hair or nice tattoo" because none of it is real.

Budistic vision on Impermanency

Christmas (2)

Isn't it funny that at Christmas something in you gets so lonely for - I don't know what exactly, but it's something that you don't mind so much not having at other times. I sometimes think we ex...

Christmas

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem ...

Something special happens to me on my birthday every year. It's like the energy invested in me at birth is born once again. Every year that adds up on my passport feels like a rebirth. It's ...
