Yes, they are for real. Yes, they are serious. Yes, they love music.They are The Flashback Manatees.Formed in September, 2007, the Manatee brothers started out as a two piece looking to have fun and make people laugh. Throughout the winter the manatees started playing shows, and writing their own original music and having a blast. Soon after, the Manatees realized that they really wanted to do this. And there it started. With a lot more energy, and a lot more seriousness. The Manatee brothers called upon their third brother Gomez to rock the pots and pans.
The three brothers proceeded to play a couple shows together, having the most fun they've ever had. Eventually they made it into a Battle of The Bands, and proceeded to win the "Crowd Favorite" award.
With this boost of confidence, the Manatees really started to become serious about their music, and started to create new, even more original tunes, with more thought and inspiration than before.
Inspired by Birthday Suits, the Manatee brothers are known for their energetic live show and it would be a sin not to see one of their shows. (Not really, but you should!)
