Nice Intentionz Sound was formed in 1991 by Thunda Banton (who had JUST split with his former sound 'DESTRUCTION', that same day). He was in a dilemma, as he had a party to play at that night. He had the equipment to play on, but no-one to play the sound. On the night in question, he set up the sound, operated the sound, worked the microphone AND selected the tunes. He ended up getting his 'at-the-time'girlfriend 'Lady Banton' to play them while he selected them. And there NICE INTENTIONZ was formed....
We have seen many members come and go. Quite a few of them have gone on to pursue different things within the music field. The REAL ones always remember where it started (for some of them), and to this day will always show 'INTENTIONZ' love. As the saying goes - "If You Don't Remember Where You're Coming From, You'll Never Know Where You're Going."
Nice Intentionz have played in MANY places over the years, from the house-parties back in the day (all the over 30's will know what I'm talking about), boat parties, to MANY nightclubs, and Thunda Banton even represented in Ochi Rios back in 1998 (alongside First Love Sound). We have also played alongside MANY sound-systems & radio-station presenters (too many to mention, but big up to ALL of you).
Nowadays, Nice Intentionz comprises of 3 members (Thunda, Blackstar & Selecta Blax). After a couple of years coolong off and revamping, we're READY to set the place on fire again, with that NICE INTENTIONZ VIBE!! So Beware...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
You can hear Thunda Banton representing NICE INTENTIONZ on 'WWW.METROLOVERADIO.COM'(92.2fm) - every Wednesday (11pm - 1am) AND every Thursday (5pm - 7pm). So check it out! We come with only the NICEST of INTENTIONZ.......
